Professional Development
Motivated and skilled people are the key to success.
PLASA has a professional development team working on major new qualifications for the industry. Central to these is the National Rigging Certificate, a scheme which went live in September 2007 and which PLASA intends to use as a blueprint for other industry skills and sectors.
We are also developing qualifications for the PA/VA sector and have won national recognition from the UK government for our work in this area. In addition, we run seminars and workshops, have negotiated special rates for members on industry training courses and can offer guidance on appraisals and staff development.
