Installing and Maintaining Audio Systems
The Audio NVQ is aimed at those practising in the professional audio installation industry. It is for those involved at a site supervision level in areas from simple background music systems to live entertainment (such as theatres, touring or clubs) as well as voice evacuation systems. Candidates are expected to demonstrate that they have appropriate knowledge and skills in their field, including installation practices and methods and also the theory behind the systems being installed. Safe working practices and appropriate health and safety knowledge also form part of the qualification.
