Still Time To Rock, Nominations Close July 1st.
NEW YORK, NY - The submission deadline for the fifth annual Rock Our World Awards is only weeks away, all nominations must be submitted by July 1, 2012. The awards, which recognize groundbreaking achievement by PLASA Members, were designed to acknowledge the genius of both the creator of technology and the designers or integrators who apply it. The awards were originated by ESTA and are now expanded as a worldwide program under PLASA.
Submissions can range from the simplest problem-solving product to unusual or complex uses of technology to projects that highlight the collaborative nature of our industry. If you've seen something that's impressed you in the last year, now is your chance to tell the world. It could be a piece of equipment you worked with, something you saw at a trade show, read about in an industry magazine, or an event you experienced. It could also be something your company created.
Anyone may nominate a PLASA member for the awards. If you're a PLASA member, encourage your clients to nominate you, or you can nominate yourself. The finalists and winners receive extensive press coverage. Nominations close July 1, 2012. Nominations for the 2012 awards must have been available in the market or premiered between October 1, 2010 and June 30, 2012 and must not have been previously nominated.
A panel of judges, including well-known industry veterans and rising young stars will judge the nominations, and finalists will be announced in early September. The winners will be announced at PLASA's annual cocktail and awards ceremony at the LDI show in October.
Submit nominations and view more info at www.plasa.org/rock.
