Nicky Gleadow
Building Employee Retention
Nicky Gleadow owns and runs The HR Point, is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and holds a Masters in Employment Law (LLM). Nicky has been working in HR for over 14 years and has been providing HR Consultancy services to small to medium size employers since 2006. Prior to this Nicky was an HR Manager in the leisure industry, where she gained significant experience in employee relations. Nicky has extensive HR experience both at a strategic level as well handling disciplinaries, grievances handling redundancies and TUPE situations. Nicky prides herself on finding the right solution for your business. Nicky often says no situation clients ask her about surprises her anymore! The Sunday Times Top 100 “Best Leader” of a mid-sized company for three years in a row (2012, 2013 & 2014), William Rogers is a people focussed manager, leader, entrepreneur and businessman. Founder of an insurance broking business at the age of 24, William built the business from scratch until it ultimately became one of the largest and most respected insurance broking firms in Cornwall. The business was sold in 2012 to national brokers, Towergate Insurance…In Spring 2020 he became Non-Executive Chairman of Bristol based company, Stage Electrics and, in October of the same year, a joint founder and Chairman of Your Harrogate and Magnetiz, a new digital media start-up. In late 2022, William became non-executive Chairman of Startle, a background digital music supplier to the hospitality and entertainment sectors. Read William’s full bio
John Robinson
Dodging Bullets: Practical Resilience
John Robinson is a Director of Inoni Ltd, a business continuity and resilience professional with over 30 years of related consultancy experience. He has provided expertise to organisations worldwide, delivering technology and business-related solutions to the public, private and voluntary sectors. John’s previous roles include R&D Director of NeverFail Group plc, Head of Consulting at Safetynet plc and Managing Consultant with PA Consulting Group, with prior software engineering and research for ITT, STC and ICL. He holds an MSc from Birmingham University in Electronic and Electrical Systems and a BSc (Hons) from the University of Aston-in-Birmingham.
