The PLASA Carbon Reduction Commitment recognises and highlights members who are actively working to measure, reduce, and manage their carbon emissions.
By signing the pledge, organisations commit to understanding their environmental impact and aligning their operations with the global path to Net Zero.

The UK Government has set a target for Net Zero by 2050. We know how hard it is to understand the requirements and best practices when it comes to reducing your carbon footprint. That’s why we’ve teamed up with sustainability expert Phoebe Currie to provide all PLASA members with the support they need to understand and implement a Carbon Reduction Plan.
Change is hard and requires commitment. All steps you take, no matter how small, are positive ones, so now’s the time to take your first step toward reducing your carbon footprint. This is guidance for businesses that are just starting their journeys and don’t have any mandatory reporting requirements.

The Carbon Reduction Plan (CRP) outlines an organisation’s goals and objectives for reducing greenhouse gas emissions. It provides a transparent roadmap for achieving these goals, identifying specific actions to be taken, and setting targets for emission reductions.
It contains a commitment to a target, your baseline carbon footprint, carbon footprints for previous years, actions taken to reduce carbon emissions and further actions you will take to reach your target.
The Corporate Carbon Footprint Calculation document provides you with guidance on how to scope out what to measure with your carbon footprint calculation, how to measure it, and how to manage ongoing monitoring and reporting.
