Venues and rigging employers are invited to endorse the NRC scheme, to show support and commitment to increasing the safety of the industry, improving best practice, and recognising the competence of those working in rigging.
Signing up to the endorsement means that you are committed to only appointing contractors and suppliers carrying out rigging work who have qualified as a Rigger holding the NRC ID Skills Card for Level 2 Rigger or Level 3 Rigging Supervisor.
Upon approval, we will send you a certificate that states your endorsement and add your listing to this page (see below).
By making an endorsement, employers and venues commit to the following statement:
“Our venue / company is committed to adopting the National Rigging Certificate (NRC). We will only appoint contractors/suppliers to carry out rigging work who have qualified as a Rigger holding the NRC ID Skills Card for Level 2 Rigger or Level 3 Rigging Supervisor. Trainees will be working in conjunction with someone holding the NRC Card.
We believe that this will support a culture of health and safety awareness, maintain best practice, and recognise the skills and knowledge of those who currently work in rigging.”
