Entry to the Scheme

Introduction

The Level 2 assessment will take two consecutive days at an assessment centre. The Level 3 will require 1 day at an assessment Centre, followed by a one-day workplace-based assessment to assess supervisory skills only, which is directly observed by an assessor.

An existing NRC Level 2 card holder can register to take their Level 3 qualification if they have a minimum of 12 months proven experience of working within a supervisory capacity, from the time of gaining the Level 2 skills card. Supporting evidence of this experience will need to be provided.

Following registration the assessment Centre will contact you directly to confirm arrangements in relation to your assessment.

To Register:

  • Step 1
Download and complete the registration form below.
  • Step 2
Email the completed form to nrc@plasa.org along with a passport style photo and your signature (these will be used on your Skills Card upon achievement).
  • Step 3
You will receive a confirmation email and then within 10 working days you will receive your Candidate Pack, including the NRC Handbook, by post.

In addition to our UK Assessment Centres we are now able to offer assessments in Malmo, Sweden, specifically for Riggers from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
The qualification PLASA NRC (Nordic) is the same as that in the UK, although much of the documentation is available in both Swedish and English.

If you wish to register for assessment in Sweden, please do not use the registration form above - instead email nrc@plasa.org
