Ahead of the Autumn Budget, the CBI is calling for no further business tax rises.
Your input is needed to evidence the impact of the recent Employers’ NIC increase on your organisation by completing the survey below.
How your data will be used
Your responses will be anonymously aggregated with others to assess the economy-wide impact of the tax rise, such as reduced jobs and investment. If the data is robust, summary findings may be shared publicly or with government by the CBI to highlight the effects.
Data privacy
Please be assured that all survey data is managed in the strictest confidence and shared only on an anonymised basis. This CBI is committed to your privacy. Find out how your data is looked after.
What’s in it for your organisation
You’ll receive a summary of any credible analysis and provide vital evidence to strengthen the CBI’s case against further tax rises.
Who will have the necessary information in your organisation
Your Finance and HR teams are most likely to hold the data needed to complete the survey accurately.

When is the deadline
The survey closes on Friday 26 September 17:00 (extended from Friday 12 September 17:00).
When can you expect to hear back
The CBI will follow up in early October with either a summary of the analysis or a note if the data was not reliable to generate credible results.
