PLASA adds even broader live music industry support to LIVE, strengthening its lobbying power and collaborating on new cross-industry initiatives.
LIVE, the UK’s representative body for live music, a federation of 15 associations spanning festivals, venues, promoters, production, artists, agents, managers and more has announced PLASA as its latest board member. PLASA now brings 47 years of unique experience to the LIVE Board, serving all those who work behind the scenes with live event, installation, and entertainment technology.
PLASA and LIVE both recognise the importance of collaboration to produce more impactful results for the industry. Moreover, both organisations campaigned on behalf of the industry throughout the pandemic: PLASA spearheading the influential #WeMakeEvents campaign and LIVE advocating for the sector on issues from employment to taxation, touring to sustainability.
By adding PLASA’s experience and expertise to that of LIVE’s other member associations, the sector will be better placed to promote the best interests of the entire live music industry.
