Watch our CRF3 webinars

You can now re-watch our webinars on Culture Recovery Fund Round 3 which took place on Wednesday 14 July and Friday 16 July.

The webinars were hosted by experienced funding specialists Caroline Taylor and Vanessa Rawlings-Jackson. In both webinars they explained what CRF3 is, what it can be used for and whether it’s right for your company. There was also plenty of Q&A, covering industry specific issues.

Your hosts

Caroline Taylor and Vanessa Rawlings-Jackson are both highly experienced funding specialists with proven track records of making successful applications to Arts Council. Caroline has secured over £15m in grants to date and has made successful applications to both the ACE Emergency Fund and the first round of the Cultural Recovery Fund. Vanessa has worked for Arts Council for 15 years and has successfully helped organisations get CRF funding in Rounds 1 and 2.

About CRF 3

This round is for organisations and businesses who are most at risk of imminent failure. Grants between £25,000 – £1,000,000 will provide emergency funding to culturally significant organisations which were financially sustainable before Covid-19 but now, having exhausted all other financial options, are liable to collapse.

The funding is to help cover the shortfall between your operating costs and income. £25,000 – £1,000,000 is available for companies and businesses who have been most affected, to help them transition back to financial viability by 31 December 2021.

To qualify, applicants must be able to:

  • Demonstrate they are at risk of failure or ceasing to trade viably within 12 weeks of the point of application.
  • Show that they can demonstrate a return to financial viability by 31 December 2021 with this injection of funds.

There is a two-stage application process:

  1. Permission to Apply: Applications can be made at any time from noon on Thursday 8 July until noon on 30 September.
  2. Full applications: Applications can be made from noon on 15 July until noon on 14 October.

Advice to previous applicants

If you received CRF funding in Rounds 1 and 2 but are facing imminent risk of collapse, you are eligible; if you had CRF Funding in Rounds 1 or 2 but aren’t at risk of imminent collapse but still require funding to help you transition back to full operational capacity, you will be offered the chance to apply to the ‘Cultural Recovery Fund: Continuity Support programme’ which will be launched later this summer.
