This is the fifth webinar in PLASA’s sustainability-focused series, delivered free and exclusively for members, offering practical guidance, context, and tools to support more sustainable business practices across entertainment technology and production.
Led by Victoria Stokes, Sustainable Production Manager at BAFTA albert, the session introduced BAFTA albert, its aims and the impact it has had in supporting more sustainable practice across film and television production.
The webinar explored what it means to be a supplier to a sustainable production, including the types of questions suppliers may be asked, the information they may need to provide and how they can support productions in meeting their sustainability goals.
Attendees also gained a clearer understanding of the Albert Suppliers Directory, including how it works, what suppliers are asked to submit and how joining can help demonstrate an organisation’s commitment to sustainability.
Designed specifically for production suppliers, the session helped PLASA members better understand BAFTA albert’s role within the screen sector and how its tools, standards and guidance are shaping expectations around sustainability, carbon reduction and best practice.
