These Terms and Conditions apply to all PLASA training courses. PLASA training courses are designed for knowledge development, Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and skills awareness. PLASA may at times use third-party providers or fully deliver the training itself. In both cases, the following terms apply.
Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
PLASA and any third-party provider delivering PLASA courses are committed to providing an inclusive, respectful and accessible learning environment for all delegates.
All delegates are expected to:
- Treat others with dignity and respect.
- Not engage in discrimination, harassment or bullying.
- Support an inclusive environment regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion, sexual orientation or background.
Any breach may result in removal from the course without refund.
Reasonable Adjustments
PLASA is committed to supporting delegates with additional needs.
Delegates are encouraged to inform PLASA at the time of booking of any reasonable adjustments required (e.g. accessibility, learning support or medical considerations).
PLASA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests; however, this may be subject to course format, method of delivery, venue limitations and advance notice.
Delegate Behaviour
Delegates must behave in a professional, respectful and cooperative manner.
PLASA may remove any delegate without refund if they:
- Are disruptive or disrespectful.
- Fail to follow instructions.
- Compromise safety.
- Are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Data Protection
Delegate information will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR.
Sustainability
PLASA will encourage sustainable practices in the delivery of its training courses and those delivered by third-party providers.
Liability
PLASA’s liability is limited to the course fee paid.
Important: Any assessments included are for learning reinforcement only and are not PLASA competency-based certifications.
